| Educator's Technology Central is designed by music educators for music educators. The goal of this site is to present materials and ideas that can be plugged right into your everyday teaching. The vision of this site is that it will grow from the contributions of outstanding music educators willing to share their ideas and methods. Lesson plans-these are are ready to use. In addition to step-by-step instructions, we've included
helpful information regarding National Standards, Missouri DESE goals, objectives and more.
Many of the lesson plans include a Supplemental Page with activities and ideas. Also, many lesson
plans include Pre-made Assessment Documents (quizzes, tests, etc.).
Teaching Tips-these each contain a teaching idea or concept. Included is the suggested age
level, materials needed, and step-by-step instructions. These can be used within the teacher's
lesson plan. Many times, these are ideas that can become part of a normal classroom routine.
Technology Files-these include those to be used with SmartMusic and Finale. All are free of
Copyright restrictions. Many of these correspond with a Lesson Plan or a Teaching Tip.
Demonstration Videos-many of the Teaching Tips and Lesson Plans are accompanied with these
